I juts want to share my happiness here, hope you enjoys my ierregular story, heheh
Finally, after three weeks here in Thanyaburi School for being an assistant teacher. Today, I was taught in a real class. Lalalalalaaaaa
I feel so extraordinary about that. Upp sorry for being so over dear.
And this is my teaching practice journal….
Procedure of Teaching
After I made my lesson plan, I always conculated it with my School Mentor. He revised and gave me an advice for teaching in the class. It is helped me so well. And decreased my litle bit nervous 😀
Before start my teaching, I opened it by saying “Good Morning” for all my student and they will stand up and answer. (Actually I do like this part of teaching, made so respected.
I showed them the video in the beginning as an engage learning experience. After that, I ask them a question than the answer is related to the video. Then, while they answered it, I taught them the main topic of the learning subject.
Time Management and Organizing Activities
Teaching only in one period means only in 50 minutes made me has to be good in time management. I used Five-E Organization that consist of five learning experiences i.e. engage, explore, explain, elaborate, evaluate.
For explore and explain learning experiences, I used a simple experiment. Then they can understand more about the topics.
Problem Solving
The most important problem that I have is in managed the time and made 50 minutes is enough for teaching. At almost in the last minutes, I elaborate and evaluated student in the same time. So that, the time is enough until the last Five-E Organization has been done by me. And I was gratefull of that 🙂
Classroom Management
Teaching in this class it so difficult, I think that the students was so naughty. M/1 is still a baby class so they cannot being atracted if it is not interested for them. it made me to take the simple experiment for them to interested.
Actually, I am so much thank you to My School Mentor. To Teacher Sonny for always accompany me in the class while I was teaching. And also to My University Mentor, Ajan Neung for always give me advice in the way to be a good teacher. I love you Teachers, ขอบคุณ ❤
